by the way can someone please tell, what would be the correct H. Samplerate for PS2 progressive 640×448 Mode with OSSCs 3x Mode
with the current H.Samplerate of 1227 the Picture is stretched to full 16:9. but there should be some black Bars at both Sides of the Screen, more like 16:10 Aspect.

so a H. Samplerate of 1200 with standard VGA 640×480@60 does the trick
can this be auto detected, and maybe programmed into next firmware?
sorry, but I’m curious about cause of your great work, this little 2K Scaler Device is getting better and better

so your results with VGA, Line 3x, 640×480 are comparable with mine
I was a bit high with my numbers, the cutoff was exactly as you described it
maybe Marqs someday has a look at this
by the way, I have problems with the HDR and VRR flags too
when I turn VRR on, with my 2K Monitor switched to Aspect and for example Shadow of the Colossus PS2 progressive with Widescreen turned on, the OSSC goes back to 4:3 aspect. The only odd way to get back to widescreen is then to switch HDR on and off. So these two setting interact with each other!

what I’ve noticed with your latest 1.11 changes and implementing 640/768p 3x support, is that everything works great wit Consoles PS2/Wii etc. but on my side, there are problems with VGA Input and 640×480 on my 3dfx Voodoo 5 Setup.
The Picture in this Mode is way off and about 20 to 25 percent are cut on the left and right side of the screen, regardless what settings I use.
Do you have a VGA setup and have a look? I’ve tested in all modes with and without AntiAliasing.
Another very nice to have, would be the implementation of 400p VGA mode auto detection as described here

this would make your little Baby THE near perfect Device for Me, cause I’m doing a lot of DOS Stuff!
