If you can convert the post into a review that would be great! Five stars (if that is the highest!)
Got it, thanks for the advice!
I am using a manual switcher now. I just thought it was more elegant going to the OSSC. Oh well, can’t have it all 🙂
I appreciate the answer to my question though!
I have a quick question that I cannot find an answer to. I apologize if this has been covered somewhere but I just can’t find it.
I have the new v1.8 OSSC and have been using it with an Amiga connected to SCART. I have the HDMI going to a PC monitor that does not have speakers. Luckily all I had to do was flip the little switch and I can use the 3.5mm A1 OUT jack to a set of PC speakers which works great.
Now I am connecting a Dreamcast VGA box to the OSSC as well. I figured connecting the VGA to AV3 and the audio out on the VGA box to A3 IN on the OSSC would do the trick.
However, I am assuming the 3.5mm A3 IN jack only passes the audio input to the HDMI out? Because no sound comes out of A1 OUT.
I guess the question is can audio coming in to A3 IN be routed to A1 OUT? And, if not, is it possible to add this to the firmware as an option?
Thank you marqs for the continued OSSC support! I just received mine from VGP a week or two ago and I have already updated the firmware twice (to latest v1.11a now). Much appreciated!
