Hello, was there any resolution to this issue? I’m having a similar issue with my Koryuu:
What input are you using on the Koryuu? (composite/S-Video) – Composite
Does that input match the current input setting? – Yes. And I’ve cycled through all 4 input options, and even upon resetting the power (which should set input to default – Composite) the same issue persists.
Please check and try reseating the video cable between the N64 and the Koryuu. – I have reset the cable on both the Koryuu and N64 ends. Same issue persists.
Have you modified the Koryuu unit in any way? Have you updated and/or altered the firmware? If so, would you mind providing your changes to aid debugging? – I have not updated or modified my Koryuu in any way.
Is the N64 modded in any fashion? If so, how? – It is not modified.
What kind of video cable are you using between the N64 and the Koryuu? Where was it bought from? Is it an original Nintendo cable? – It is an original N64 Composite cable.
This unit arrived this week, and worked once perfectly before only displaying bars the next day. Thank you.
