Well Ebay is half and half a re-seller’s club, but so much bs flies by I doubt they even care. This is the same as when they created all those problems between themselves and their paypal branch.
I also doubt that US-Chinese law on copyrighted goods is ever going to be a thing (if it is already?). Bootlegs and copycat designs always get through, so other then community alerts, I don’t know what to suggest.
I got a little bothered someone went as far as to compare the ossc with linux distribution (open source), but the difference is there’s money involved and that really belongs in the community circles then someone who’s an outside bootlegger.
I’m pretty disgusted seeing this to be honest. If the logo was already under copyright, then I shouldn’t see Ebay making it an issue. Either way the community needs to put the PSA out on not supporting scam artists.
Hey I’m just wondering, is this something to do with DVI vs HDMI mode setting? I caught this happening to me at one point and making that switch to DVI solved my issue, but I’m guessing the mode is in combination with another setting that’s causing it to do this.
I was scratching my head over this when I played Soul Calibur and even with the gain settings, I was still getting a lot of bloom and white out with a number of details missing. Is there something that has to be a little more direct with the way the system converts the strength level of the signal, or is it likely we need another solution towards getting that contrast level under control?
I’ve made a suggestion in the shmups forum that one alternative might be to make a cable or adapter that has resisters embedded. I think this should be highly considered if we somehow can’t get this figured out.
