When buying products from our store, please observe the following terms and conditions. Please note, these conditions can potentially change at any time, and it is your responsibility to check before ordering products in case there are any changes. If you do not agree with the terms and conditions set out below, you should not buy products from this website. Your contract for purchases made on this website is with VGP Media Limited. You must be eighteen years old or above to place an order on this site. If you are under eighteen, you must ask a parent or guardian to shop on your behalf. You warrant that all details you provide on this website for the purpose of ordering or purchasing goods are true, accurate, current and complete in all respects; and that the credit or debit card you are using is your own and that there are sufficient funds in your account to cover payment of the product(s) ordered. You agree that e-mail can be used as a method of communicating with you. It is a crime to use a false name or a known invalid credit card to order. Anyone caught wilfully entering an erroneous or fictitious order will have their details passed on to the police. We reserve the right to terminate our agreement with you and to suspend or terminate your access to the site immediately and without notice to you if:

  • You fail to make payment to us when due.
  • You breach any of our terms and conditions.
  • When requested by us to do so, you fail to provide within a reasonable time frame, sufficient information to enable us to determine the accuracy and validity of any information supplied by you, or your identity.
  • We suspect you have engaged, or are about to engage, or have been involved in fraudulent or illegal activity on this website.

We reserve the right to modify or withdraw, temporarily or permanently, this website (or any part thereof) with or without notice to you and you confirm that we shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification to or withdrawal of the website.

Ordering

When placing an order, you warrant that all information given is accurate and complete. All orders are subject to acceptance and product availability. All prices listed on this website are correct at the time of entering the information; however, we reserve the right to change prices of any product at any time. No contract for the sale of any product will exist between you and VGP Media Limited until we accept your order by dispatching the product to you. Confirmation e-mails will be sent to the e-mail address. You must check all the details on this confirmation e-mail are correct and contact us as soon as possible if any details are incorrect. If your order has not been accepted, we will endeavour to contact you to explain the reasons why.

Browsers

Please use a modern, up to date browser to shop on our site, we do not support Internet Explorer 9 or earlier and may cancel transactions placed with those browsers if they cause errors or omissions. Use of old or obsolete browsers for shopping or e-commerce places you at risk of hackers and security vulnerabilities.

Delivery

All delivery periods stated are approximate. Goods will be sent to the address given by you in your order. If you are ordering more than one item, your goods may be sent to you in instalments if certain items are out of stock. If your delivery address is outside of the EU, you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. You must meet any additional charges for customs clearance. Please note, customs policies vary widely from country to country. We recommend you contact your local customs office for further information. Also note that, unfortunately, we may have to wait up to 28 working days (or 35 working days for overseas orders) before we are able to issue refunds or replacement items for any parcels that might have been lost or delayed during transit. Payment

Payment for goods and services on this site is provided by and secured by our e-commerce partners Stripe. Orders are SSL protected/encrypted at checkout.

Returns and cancellations

When you order from us, you are entitled to cancel this contract and receive a full refund provided that you exercise your right within seven working days after the day on which you receive the products. (Bank Holidays do not count as working days). If you haven’t already submitted an order, you may clear the items in your shopping basket at any time prior by selecting the ‘Remove’ button next to the product ordered in you shopping basket and then clicking “Update Cart”. If you have submitted your order and received your confirmation e-mail, you usually need to wait until you receive the product and then follow our returns procedure. Once we’ve received notification from you that you wish to cancel an order, any sum charged by us to your credit or debit card will be re-credited to that credit or debit account within 30 days, provided the goods you return are in the same condition that they were when delivered to you. We reserve the right to charge a re-stocking fee if parts of any goods returned are missing or damaged, this can include parts of the items packaging (though it does not include the outer mailing box or envelope).

You will be liable to any charges incurred when returning the goods to VGP Media, unless the return is as a result of an error on our part or is faulty. All goods can be returned to us for a full refund on the cost of goods or exchange within 14 days from the date of receiving your item providing they are unused. Please ensure that you receive a proof of postage for your own records and have adequate insurance cover should the parcel be lost. We cannot be held responsible for lost parcels, though we will do our best to assist customers who need to claim for lost parcels when shipping items to us. To return goods, simply contact us for returns information, or use the form below. Please ensure your order number is included with the goods to allow us to identify your order. If any items to be exchanged are more expensive than the original items, you will need to contact us to arrange for the additional payment to be processed.

    Once we’ve received the returned item, any sum charged by us to your credit or debit card will be re-credited to that credit or debit account within 14 days, provided the goods you return are in the same condition that they were when delivered to you.

    If you wish to claim for return postage costs for a faulty item or item sent in error, you must submit proof of the value of postage purchased by sending us a photograph or scan of the postage receipt. The receipt must show the tracking number, date and amount of postage purchased.

    Faulty goods must be returned to us for inspection, due to the number of different possible configurations, unknown compatibility issues etc, it is not normally sufficient to provide photographs or videos of the item apparently not working.

    Customers located outside of the EU – Customers located outside of an EU member state who wish to return goods to us will need to complete a customs declaration. We will provide full guidance on how to complete customs declarations in full. PLEASE NOTE – Any extra fees incurred by us due to customers not completing customs forms correctly will be deducted from any refund amount paid.

    Warranty

    Unless otherwise stated, all our products come with a 12 month warranty period (6 months for second-hand/refurbished goods). This Limited Warranty applies to physical goods, and only for physical goods, purchased from VideoGamePerfection.com/VGP Media. This warranty does not apply to hardware repairs/modifications. For details of hour hardware repair/modification service, see this page.

    What does this limited warranty cover? – This limited warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship under normal use during the warranty period. During the warranty period, VGP Media will repair or replace, at no charge, products or parts of a product that proves defective because of improper material or workmanship, under normal use and maintenance.

    What will we do to correct problems? –VGP Media Ltd will either replace or repair the product at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts.

    How long does the coverage last? – The warranty period for physical goods purchased from VideoGamePerfection.com/VGP Media is 12 months from the date of dispatch. A replacement physical good or part assumes the remaining warranty of the original goods or 60 days from the date of replacement or repair, whichever is longer.

    What does this limited warranty not cover? – This Limited Warranty does not cover any problem that is caused by:

    ● Conditions, malfunctions or damage not resulting from defects in material or workmanship

    ● Malfunctions or damage due to miss-use, neglect, fire, flooding or natural disasters

    ● Minor cosmetic issues/differences which do not materially affect functionality

    What do you have to do? – To obtain warranty service, you must first contact us to determine the problem and the most appropriate solution for you.

    Our warranties cover the original purchaser only and are not transferable if the goods are sold or given away.

    What Is VAT?

    VAT stands for Value Added Tax, it is a sales tax. VideoGamePerfection.com is based in the Republic of Ireland and owned by VGP Media Ltd, a VAT registered business. All our prices are subject to European Union VAT.

    If you live in an EU member state, you pay VAT at point of purchase on our goods. Your goods are then shipped to you and will NOT incur any other tax, duty or handling fees.

    If you live outside of the EU (including Norway or Switzerland), you do NOT pay VAT at point of purchase. However, your parcel may be subject to sales tax, duty and handling fees at your countries border. These fees are often higher than the cost of VAT, please check with local government or post office for more information.

    Customers purchasing from outside of the EU are 100% responsible for paying any and all duties, taxes, brokerage and/or handling fees on their parcels.

    VAT exceptions for EU based businesses – If your business is VAT registered in the EU and you would like to purchase VAT free goods for business use using the EUs reverse charge mechanism, please contact us.

    Brexit – The UK is no longer a member of the EU single market or customs union. Under new UK government rules, UK VAT will be applied to UK orders only.

    How do the new UK VAT rules work?

    Orders under £135 GBP (excluding postage and packaging) will be charged VAT at point of purchase. You will then get your parcel and pay no import VAT (handling fees and duty may still apply, this is outside of our control).

    Orders over £135 GBP (excluding postage and packaging)  will NOT be charged VAT at point of purchase. Instead, you pay import VAT, handling fees and duty when you receive your parcel.

    For ALL non EU destinations, including Norway and Switzerland, handling fees, duties and other taxes may be due and are the responsibility of the customer.

      Is Stripe a viable payment method for individual consumers? It seems to be a business-only platform, during account configuration, it’s asking me what sort of business I am, not providing an option for consumers.

      A normal bank transfer isn’t possible?
