      Weird use case… but sometimes for console testing and trouble-shooting various devices, it is useful to connect consoles like this:

      Console > OSSC > HDMI to VGA converter > VGA to SCART cable > CRT TV.

      Using the same HDMI > VGA > SCART > CRT with ‘direct video’ from a MiSTer has no video problems. But with the same chain coming out of OSSC the image continual scrolls upwards. Could the OSSC provide an option to add/remove the info from the HDMI output that is causing the video to scroll upwards?

        Which HDMI to VGA converter is in question, and which source? Also, is the combined current draw of the converter and VGA->SCART cable less than 200mA. You could also try if the same issue occurs with 0.81 since there are a few reports indicating there might be something wrong with the metadata from 0.82 onwards.
