I’m driving my OSSC through the VGA input from an Acorn Archimedes A3000 with a VIDC enhancer. Per the documentation, certain modes are scanned 4.7% slow – and if I select Super VGA, I see that the AV3 input is displayed as 448p 30Khz 66.96hz and the HDMI monitor I’m connected to displays ‘out of range’ with no image displayed. I’d assume that the problem here is that the scan rate should actually be 70Hz – is there a way to sync this input and provide an output that my monitor can deal with (or, alternately, could a different panel deal with the resultant output)? Thanks!

Unfortunately not, OSSC cannot change refresh rates, so if 66.9 is what the Acorn is actually doing there’s not a lot you can do about that.

Thanks – I pretty much expected that. How does that translate to the HDMI output, though – is that driven at the same frequency (and otherwise, is it possible that a different panel may cope with it)?

Basically yes, what goes in is what comes out when it comes to refresh rate, so another panel may prove to be compatible.

If your display supports 70Hz, then 66.96Hz is likely to be supported as well. You could try setting “Output opt.” -> “384p/400p proc” to Line2x.
