PAL Gamecube hooked up to an OSSC 1.6 using an RGB SCART on firmware 0.90a. I’m using GBI HF through Swiss. I got GBI basically looking crystal clear on this OSSC but i’ve noticed this sparkling noise hitting certain pixels (usually ones that are colored brown and green) and I’ve tried to get rid of them to no avail. Tried changing settings on my 4K monitor and nothing helped.

Hopefully the video is clear enough, any ideas on what’s going on? I can provide more information if needed. Below are some settings I have, i’m not an expert at this stuff so some of it is probably configured stupidly.

Can you try lower than Line5x? Some units have had these kind of issues when pushed close to the performance limit. There are some improvements on later firmwares but they are not compatible with vanilla v1.6 board.

Hi thanks for getting back to me. I tried lower than Line5x and they don’t inhibit the artifacts, however I found the images a bit more blurry than I wanted.

I downloaded a GBI optimised for OSSC (gbihf-ossc.dol+cli I believe it’s called) and it looks incredible so problem for me solved, it’s actually comparable in image quality to mGBA on default settings which is crazy.
