So my current setup looks like this:
Dreamcast -> RGB Scart (15/30hz switch) with chinch audio connected to ossc using 3.5mm adapter.
PS2 and other consoles connected via component using 3.5 mm adater.
So all consoles sharing the same 3.5 mm jack. In this case I need to toggle switch/audio (between AV1 and Av2) using some tool which is annoying because of the position of the switch. Is there an option to output the audio of the dreamcast in a different way? (I don’t want use vga for dreamcast) or maybe modify the switch so I can toggle it easily without using tool?
Sounds a bit weird to me, or I don’t understand your cable. You shouldn’t have to connect separate audio for the Scart cable.
When the toggle is in AV1 position, it is not meant for IN signal, it should be OUT (carrying audio from the Scart audio pins). Only AV2 is meant for input.
Do you have a link to the cable?
I solved the problem. my scart rgb switch does have audio out.
