      Hi All

Powered on the OSSC today and nothing… Just a blank LCD screen and no output. Any thoughts as to what the issue might be or where I can start to troubleshoot?

1.6 or 1.7? Purchased from us or elsewhere?

Purchased from here but I’ve managed to kick it back into life. Oddly inserting a micro SD card into it kicked it into life. So that’s good. Hopefully not a sign of issues to come?

              Hi there,

Same issue here with OSSC 1.7…
Connect PS2 console to AV1 and Hdmi out to my smart TV Samsung UE40D6100..
              G
              Sound works, OSSc display AV1: RGBs 625i /15,59Khz 49.91Hz
But blank screen remains on TV

              Any help?

I tried to put SD card and nothing change.

Also did a FW update and now is 0.90a, my tv shows the menu of the OSSC, I can hear the sound of the game inserted on my PS2 console, but black screen remains on tV.
Changing mode on the remote control keys #1 #4 #7 only in key #1 getting sync

AV3 port is working… Tv without imagem of the input are only on AV1 (scart) even changing scart cables

Ok, not related to OPs issue then. Sounds like you are not using properly wired RGB cables. You must use RGB cables with OSSC. Open another thread if you need further assistance.

Thread revival….My screen has given up the ghost.  Slowly faded over time and now failed and I’m only left with backlight.  I’d like to upgrade to a version of code with the onscreen menus.  Is this possible now that I cannot see the screen? I do own a remote so could step through to the upgrade selection if I knew the exact steps?

It’s possible, but the steps may depend a bit on the firmware version you have so it’d help if you can roughly remember the version you have.
