I’m looking to buy a Dexx purely for downscaling to 480i and 240p but want to know a little more info if someone can please help. What’s the maximum resolution input when downscaling? And can the picture scale and shift when downscaling?
Scaler mode is able to convert any supported resolution to 240p or 480i with size&position adjustment. Adaptive LM mode supports 480p->480i and 480p->240p conversions by dropping every other line, but is more restrictive with regards to adjustments.
