I’m getting a very dim red light when the OSSC is unpowered when connected with my current setup.
SNES SCART > OSSC > POWERED HDMI SPLITTER > MONITOR and PEXHDCAP
When I plug in the HDMI into the unpowered OSSC, I get a quick flash on the LCD. Probably because of the powered HDMI?
Everything works well when I turn it on, but all these still concern me because I don’t know where the unstable sync is coming from.
Any advice would give me peace of mind is welcome!
Any SCART switching equipment in your setup?
No sir. Just one that connects my SNES into the OSSC as AV1.
It might be your powered hdmi splitter.
I had a problem where I was using a hdmi switch and it was giving some power to the ossc.
Thank you! That might be the case!!
