      Hello

      I am wondering if I can use just the VGA output on the TORO to the VGA input on the OSSC to do everything possible with the TORO & OSSC (240p / 480i / 480p) Are there any reasons why using SCART or VGA would be superior?

        Bucko explains in this thread why you might prefer to use the scart output on the toro.

        Dreamcast Toro + OSSC = Scart or VGA?

        Either will work however if you have a particular preference due to other switches/cables/connectors in your setup

          Thank you! I think I will stick to VGA because I am sending the signal from my toro to my extron, and my dreamcast is a bit far away from my rack. It is much easier (and cheaper) to find a long quality 15-pin to BNC cable than a SCART to BNC. Hopefully I can dial it in well! Thanks again!
