How does the OSSC manage sample rates below 12 MHz?

      Looking at the datasheet for the TVP7002, it states that its lowest sample rate is 12 MHz.

      How does the OSSC handle this with the optimized modes (or when the H. samplerate is manually set low)? Does it run the TVP7002 below its rated minimum sample rate, or does it run it at twice the given H. samplerate setting and simply discard every other sample? It doesn’t really matter much, but I’m a bit curious.

        It samples using a N multiple of the given samplerate (which is anyway needed if the value is fractional) but then uses only every Nth sample.
