I’m not totally sure what is causing this, but I’m having a very inconsistent sample phase setting.
I have my N64 set to 90deg, and it’s super clean in the grid on the 240p test suite.
After switching to 101deg, it still looks fine. If I then switch back to 90deg, 90 looks awful. Setting it back to 101 also looks awful.
If I then flick it back and forward between 101 and 90, it’s a total crapshoot which it will be.
Restarting the console also seems to be a coin flip whether or not it will be correct or incorrect. Swapping between 90 and 101 a few times will eventually get it to cooperate.
I have no idea what is causing this, but there’s definitely something weird going on with how the sampling phase is actually being set in the OSSC.
