I do apologise if this question is already nested here but I cannot find the relevant answers.
Anyway, I have a PC CRT monitor which I use with my OSSC (latest firmware .81). I have a Saturn/PS2 light gun which I’ve tried using but I get no on screen crosshair. The gun works in the sense it rumbles and fires , and I can select menu items with the buttons on the gun.
I use Line 2x (so 640×480@60Hz). Is there no OSSC compatibility at all with light guns or do I need to do something different?
Thanks in advance.
You have to use those 15khz light guns on a 15khz CRT. Dreamcast light guns may work in VGA mode on a 31khz CRT.
So you’re saying because my monitor is a 31khz display this makes it incompatible with light guns that are designed for 15khz / 50/60hz displays?
