Hello!
I’m looking for advice getting synch from my MV1C mvs board that is connected to my OSSC pro via a jamma extractor.
I have seen posts online advising to change settings as shown below
Sync OPT. -> H-PLL Post-Coast – 2 lines
Sync OPT. -> Hsync Tolerance – 8.30us
However I do not see “Hsync Tolerance” in the menu on my OSSC pro.
Right now the OSSC shows the message “out of range”.
Can you check which version of the OSSC Pro you have (sticker on the underside).
The sticker says manufactured 7/2025.
Model Number 16
What MVS model do you have and which Supergun is used?
It’s a MV1C one slot in a Sega Blast City with picture coming through vga from the Axunworks JAMMA extractor.
I get synch and output from CPS2 boards but not from the MVS and CPS3 boards.
Have you tried if the SCART output has similar issues?
I don’t have a scart cable so I’ll have to order one to test. For now, here’s a video of what it looks like when I connect it via VGA.
Are you sure it’s supposed to output RGB sync-on-green as the video shows this input selected?
That and YPbPr are the only inputs that show any numbers. My CPS2 boards work on RGBCS and RGBHV but for the MVS 1-Slot those simply say “no synch”.
The product page doesn’t have much detail on how incoming sync is buffered and converted to HV (?) sync for VGA output. You can try adjusting “Sync opt -> TTL Hsync Vth” with RGBHV source, but without more details it’s hard to say what could be wrong if no sync is reported at all.
