Hey all, I just installed a ppu digitizer and I am having some issues with the colors. I can get a stable clean picture but can figure out what’s going on with the colors.

I follow the guide of someone else who installed this mod with the same ground location for the lumacode board. So I’m thinking that shouldn’t be a problem.

I have tested RetroRGBs profile, and the colors were off and img was not great. With a nesrgb profile and lumacode turned on. I get a super crisp img, but the colors are still way off.

So I’m hoping this is just the ossc? I know this is a newer mod but hopefully someone knows what to try?

Ok with enough trial and error we got it. It only works in 5x mode, and is really picky about settings.

Is this what is kind of expected then with this mod? Would be nice to have it working in other line multipliers – but im glad it is at-least working.

It really is pixel perfect, super happy with it.

Now we can at-least enjoy it – but curious how others experience with them mod has been? Using the ossc.

For anyone that runs into the same issue. Try the FirebrandX NESRGB profile, and start messing with all the LPF settings (there are a few) and try 5x for the line multiplier. That is how I was able to make it work.

Not sure why? But it works.

@marqs if i play around with the sampling, I can get 4x & 6x to look correct – but i still get graphical glitches in the screen (grey lines), with noise at the top of the screen. 5x outputs a perfectly clear signal. I wonder if having more fine tuning abilities on the sampling would help? It does increase by large amounts ( I have no idea what I’m talking about with video stuff, I could just not be understanding it)
