      Hello,

So I just recieved my NES back from one of the official modders for NES, one thing I noticed right away apart from the image being amazing, is that there is a decent amount of noise in the Solid colors.
Is there some setting i can change on the OSSC to fix this? (also don’t mind crackling audio on the recording i changed that to no downsampling and it’s gone.)

I would try replacing your NES’ power supply.

The original Nintendo model is a linear unit and so pretty good if I recall.

Firebrand X recommends the Triad’s as a good quality switched mode PSU replacement that doesn’t add noise – https://shmups.system11.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=64006

I have a video noise issue with my nesrgb. I’m using the Triad power adapter for my front loader nes, I’m using a csync cable from RGC.uk

I dont have vertical lines/jailbars, but I have video noise, and it’s especially visible on black background. I did not install this mod myself, but I do know how to solder, is there something specifically I need to examine and adjust from the rgb mod?

                Thanks!
