I would love it if we could add a few IR commands to the code in a future update. Can we assign the P1-9 to functions on the OSSC Pro?

Heres what I am thinking (I have no idea if these are pretty easy or a lot of work to add).

P1 : Power On (Discrete Power On that only turns On OSSC Pro, if received and the unit is already on it is ignored)

P2 : Power Off (Just like On but only puts the unit into standby, if already in standby it is ignored)

P3: Recalls Stored Preset SD01 (Recalls the Stored SD Preset 01)

      P4 : Recalls Stored Preset SD02

      P5 : Recalls Stored Preset SD03

      P6 : Recalls Stored Preset SD04

      P7 : Recalls Stored Preset SD05

      P8: Recalls Stored Preset SD06

      P9: Recalls Stored Preset SD07

(If that isnt possible on the Presets, Maybe we Could have P2 Switch the Recall List to (SD) List, and P3 Switch the recall Preset List to (Int) List.

So I press the Preset recall button now, the menu pops up but it always selects the INT list. Im trying to find a way to select saved presets for different games from Crestron automation without having to get the original IR remote and press “Recall”, then “Right”, and maybe “Right” again, then “Down” a bunch of times, then “Enter” all while watching the display. Let me know if I am not explaining this well enough.

      Thank you!

      Jon

I think the P and color buttons should be user configurable. Possible even the unlabeled buttons could be. So, for each of those buttons you’d be able assign a command from a list.

That way, any of the P or color buttons could be used for either a profile shortcut or another command such as power.

I’ve been thinking about adding the following 5 menu options (default value in bold):

P1-9 function: Disabled, Load profile 1-9, SD Load profile 1-9
RED function: Disabled, Power off, Power on, Shadow mask mode-, Shadow mask mode+, Shadow mask int-, Shadow mask int+, Audio Pre-ADC gain-, Audio Pre-ADC gain+, Lumacode mode toggle, HDR toggle, VRR toggle
          GREEN function: same as above
          YELLOW function: same as above
          BLUE function: same as above

              That sounds awesome!

Could the six unlabelled buttons be included for custom configuration as well? They’d need some form of naming scheme to hint at which one is which and be marked in the picture of the remote on the wiki.

Most of the unlabelled buttons unfortunately have overlapping keycodes with labelled buttons which is why they were not marked in the first place.
