Hi, i have had the OSSC for a while now, but i recently purchased a new TV. I used to have a setup with a DVDO connected to the OSSC via DVI with audio from the OSSC to my TV’s Audio in. However, i don’t think my new TV supports audio in and my DVDO doesnt speak well with my new TV so i am removing that from my setup. So i am now using a HDMI cable and trying to get audio to go through it to the TV.

I have heard some versions of OSSC have an audiuo problem, not sure if thats mine. Are there any settings i should be aware of when trying to get audio? I already have TX mode set to HDMI, still no audio, anything else?

Any help would be great thanks.

        What revision is your OSSC?
Are you using the firmware with the -aud suffix?

I’m assuming you have a 1.6 OSSC (with the HDMI output).

In addition to needing one of the -aud firmwares as Harrumph mentioned, if you’re using the component input (AV2), you need to flip the switch between the HDMI output and the TRS jack just to the left. That switch controls whether that jack is an audio breakout for AV1 (SCART) or an audio input for AV2, and it ships as AV1 breakout by default; so, if you never flipped that switch, you won’t get audio for AV2.

Ok thanks guys i am getting my audio now, it was definetly the firmware. I flipped that switch a couple times while fumbling around looking for an audio fix yesterday, i knew about it a just forgot what it did, thanks for the reminder!
