Noise flowing up the screen..

      Thank you for that. Finding and eliminating powerline noise is frustrating for sure, especially when it gets down to removing devices you actually want or need in your setup.

        You’re most welcome. Hopefully it will help others as it was kinda hard to find a thread that had my exact same findings.. given the nature of the beast, things are so erratic that it’s hard to get a perfect match. But this thread gave me hope.

        I am going to sit down, clean the nice wooden cabinet the whole rig sits on and try and remove unnecessary stuff to see what’s going on..

        On a side, I was thinking that making an RGB to SCART cable with a VGA cable, would be pretty good.. there are all the wires that we need, there is a global insulation, plus single insulation for each wire, plus each wire has an internal naked ground filament.. this is pretty good and it’s so hard to find properly-shielded cables in SCART land.. my soldering skills aren’t bad. I might keep it in mind if I find out the cable’s the reason..
