I just got my scart cables from RetroGamingCables.co.uk, specifically their Universal Nintendo SCART cable and their CSYNC PS2 SCART cable. The PS2 handles everything perfectly, however the SNES no audio coming out when in use. I’ve tried on multiple displays and the same result happens each time. I don’t have any other 240p systems to test this out with unfortunately. I’ve scoured the forums and couldn’t find an answer to this issue. Please let me know if you have other questions about my situation.
Perhaps it is simply a bad cable? Have you got in contact with Rob at RetroGamingCables?
I haven’t yet, I was hoping it wouldn’t be the cable since it took about a month to get to me. I’ll reach out to him.
So I spoke with Rob, and after plugging and unplugging it a few times the audio started to work with a direct connection to the OSSC, however it doesn’t work with the splitter I have for some reason. I’ll have to deal with it for now I guess.
