Hi,
Putting the lesson to one side of ever buying anything Bitfunx 🙁
I’m trying to resurrect an OSSC 1.8 that I believe likely suffered a power surge via the HDMI port thanks to a PSU on a CRT that blew. I found that on the board was a CAT6613CQ instead of an expected IT6613E (pin compatible and somewhat equivalent from what I’ve read). I decided (with nothing to lose) to replace it with a IT6613E. I now have a display! … BUT like the attached green overlay and corruption.
I did some checks to see if I bridged anything, all clear, everything has contact to the corresponding pad. It’s possible the IT6613E is bad too (AliExpress).
Anyone have any ideas if this is fixable?
I’ve checked voltages on the regulators also:
U18 – 2.528V GOOD
U7 – 1.9V GOOD
U6 – 3.316V GOOD
U12 – 1.2V GOOD
U13 – 2.501V GOOD
U14 – 1.2V GOOD
U15 – 1.799V GOOD
U16 – 1.801V GOOD
Thanks.

Thanks.
