Ossc black screen with megadrive

Hello every one.

I recently purchase an Ossc, it works great. But some games like sonic 1 give black screen (313-p sync on lcd)

Sonic 1 works great direclty on megadrive + TV without Ossc.
Stuff :
Old panasonic plasma 720p
Megadrive 1 (fr with switch 50/60)
Megadrive 1 (fr no swith)
Rgb cable genuine
Rgb stereo cable from retrogaming.uk
Ossc

I test all those cables and megadrive. Same thing with sonic 1

Am i doing wrong ?

Is it always in that game or only specific times?
PAL or NTSC mode or both?
Did you try setting PLL pre and post coast to 4 and did you try “Panasonic Hack” in compatibility modes?

It’s only happen with Sonic, pal our ntsc. Sonic 2 & Sonic & knuckles works fine.

I have street fighter 2′, i need to switch but it works. Not sonic at all. It’s not a big problem because I’ll have an everdrive soon but i like to underdand 😊

I don’t know why it works with standard cable but not with ossc.

I’ll try your settings with panasonic hack and pre/post coast.

That’s indeed strange I’m not aware of anything unusual Sonic 1 does. Sonic 2 has issues in the 2 player mode usually resolved by increasing PLL coast.
