OSSC 1.6
Firmware v0.90
PS1 connected via SCART through a switch
PS2 connected via component through a switch
All consoles NTSC
All profiles are from FireBrandX
So I started having an issue this week where my OSSC won’t pass through 480i signals while set to profiles that used to have no issue with it. When booting up my PS1 with no disc (to keep the system outputting 480i) while on any of FBX’s PS1 profiles and setting 480i to passthrough, the status LED will remain green, but no picture will be displayed. However, if I switch to FBX’s Gamecube profile, with 480i also set to passthrough, it will display the picture without any issue. Just to make sure it wasn’t my PS1, I tried it with my PS2 to the same results.
I can’t think of anything that had changed in the time that it was last working and now. The setup is entirely the same, my TV’s firmware had not been updated, and my OSSC was on the latest firmware. As far as troubleshooting, I tried manually changing the PS1 profile settings to match the Gamecube profile settings (no change), I tried doing a fresh import of FBX’s occs_profiles_0.90_fbxfavorites pack (no change), and I reinstalled the v0.90 firmware (no change).
At this point I’m out of ideas as to what could be the issue.
