      My OSSC has stopped responding to any IR inputs. I assumed it may be the remote so ended up ordering a second pre-programmed remote but still no joy.

      I’ve tried the setup of a ‘new’ remote via the instructions below, but the OSSC just isn’t responding to any IR input whatsoever.

      Wondering if perhaps a firmware update will resolve this, still on 0.79a firmware but not sure if there is a way of updating the firmware without a remote. I don’t have any kind of JTAG connector to update this way either.

      The OSSC itself works fine I should add, I just can’t change any settings on it.
      It was purchased from VGP back in 2017.

        Sounds like the IR receiver diode has been damaged or has a bad solder joint (check the 3 points on its backside, fairly easy to resolder).
