Im still new to using the OSSC but I’ve added in and saved profiles and stuff but for some reason OSSC never saves anything in the Settings Opt . I don’t wanna have to set the input to AV1 (SCART) and turn of the LCD every single time I boot the thing up

I’ve never come across an OSSC that wouldn’t save settings, is it one of ours? Updated to the latest f/w?

        Thanks,

        Matt

yup latest firmware , I did notice a section in the Settings Options for importing settings (Im guessing from an SD card like the profiles) but I’ve only imported profiles . Not sure if that has any effects.

Not sure if it’s the case here, but at some point certain Chinese sellers started using a different flash chip in their version which was not fully compatible with the recent official firmwares, leading to issues like this. I don’t know if they have tried to implement a SW fix, but at least I’ve not seen any merge requests.

I ordered my OSSC from video game perfection so I don’t think that would be the issue , try to stay away from those type of clones to begin with.

Hmm, the options under settings menu should be saved at the same time any profile is saved. Not sure what could fail there, especially if profiles are saved/loaded correctly.

sorry for the late response (kinda forgot about are conversation) . I did ended up getting it to default to the SCART input , for some reason taking out the SD card fixed it (atleast from what I could tell) … But just in case I run into hardware problems like you were talking about who do email ? I defitnetly still have my order number , I never delete emails

Reply directly to your order receipt or use the “contact us” link at the top of the page (or by pressing the three horizontal line menu button at the top on mobile).
