So, I recently picked up a LG CX 55″ and it looks fantastic. But, I have a question related to bob de-interlacing with this. I heard this type of de-interlacing can cause quicker burn-in than usual, and I was wondering if this would effect OLED, as that’s quite an issue with OLEDs.

From what I’ve read, bob-deinterlacing can cause image retention (not quite burn-in) in displays that are susceptible to it.

I’d recommend using passthrough for interlaced sources so that the display can do the deinterlacing.
