Hi, I’ve had the OSSC Pro for about 6 months and it’s come in handy for so many uses with my CRT and Plasma devices, taking their usefulness to a new level. Very grateful for the hard-work that’s gone into the device.

I’m wondering if a full 2560x1440i (active pixel count) output mode could be included in a future firmware?
(possibly along with a 1920x1440i official mode to match 3x line multiplier mode but usable in scaler output)

Purpose -> CRTs that are 45kHz horizontal scan rate compatible but not 67.5kHz for 1080p e.g. 17/19/21″ CRT monitors, BVMs, late HD CRT TVs.

      Using the component/rgbhv addon output:

I have managed to customize the “1080i 60hz” output mode to give me a full 4:3 1920x1440i active (same as line 3x on 480i source)
When it comes to 16:9 I managed about 2200x1440i active (2800x1650i total pixels) since I’m hitting the restriction of a max 2800 horizontal total pixels – meaning it’s not possible to get enough sync/blanking length for the full width.

I also managed to display 2560x~720p active pixels by editing one of the ultrawide 240p output modes which allowed greater than 2800 max horizontal total pixels. (no option to interlace however)

So is the FPGA inside the OSSC pro capable of processing an output of 2560x1440i if say the max pixel setting restrictions were loosened and any chance it could go in a future firmware?

      Many thanks!
