OSSC Pro firmware v0.72 / v0.73

Firmware version 0.72 has been released:

* fix GBI presets
* store size/position adjustments for HDMI inputs as well
* add 2880x2160_60 preset option
* enable 2880×2160 mode for 240p/288p A-LM
* support direct video “DV1” mode from Mister and PixelFX products
* sync processing fixes for Taito F3 etc.

UPDATE: followed up by 0.73 which fixes profile loading issue.

It’s also worth noting that 1080p120 preset (moved under output menu) now has CEA timing option without PR2x, possibly making it more compatible with displays not supporting CVT-RB timings.

Does this firmware update impact internal (and SD) profiles ?

The following settings have changed between 0.71 and 0.72 and the new firmware thus does not load these from old profile but uses default values instead:

* A-LM “240p proc” and “288p proc”
* “Testpattern mode”
* “1080p120 preset”
* All video mode timings modifications

All my internal and external profiles don’t load after updating to this version.

There seems to be a bug on loading profiles which has only started to manifest with 0.72. If you have a large number of profiles, I suggest going back to 0.71 and waiting until next fw is released which fixes this.

Updated title and OP regarding 0.73 which fixes the profile loading issue. The third post about updated settings is still valid for those updating from 0.71.

With 0.73, interestingly enough, I can now indeed load profiles again but it looks like the “240p proc” setting in “Adaptive LM opt” never load from my profile.

Noticed that as when I loaded a profile everything looked good visually (scanlines, mask etc) but the resolution was not 6x (as per my profile configuration) but 3x which is the default setting. Some other resolution settings in this menu look to load properly when not set to default value in my profile but I have not checked if that is the case with all of them.

If the profile was saved with 0.71 or earlier fw, “240p proc” setting does not load with 0.72/0.73 firmware since its contents have been changed (see 3rd post). You need to re-save the profile with the new firmware to store the setting.
