My first day using this thing so apologies if I’m missing something obvious…

So I get all my video settings dialed in how I want, then I go into into the Settings menu and make some changes, most notably changing the text highlight color to Red, set the fan speed to 30%, and changing how quickly the LED screen shuts off.

I save the profile on the SD card to slot 0. Turn the OSSC off. When I turn the unit back on and load SD card profile slot 0,  I get the “104/104 items loaded”, my video settings all appear to be correct, but the actual Settings menu is unchanged. Text color remain yellow, fan speed still at 0%, etc.

What am I doing wrong here?

The options under “Settings” menu are saved separately into a common slot/file when any profile is saved. During power-up settings from internal flash are always loaded even if you have SD inserted with settings.bin. You thus need to save any profile into internal flash to get them stored.

            That did the trick, thanks!

@marqs is it possible to have the profile store all settings? Extra AV Output settings as well as input, output, scaler settings and recall them when the profile is selected? I think most settings are saved but seems some are not. I ask because I have two different displays connected to the Extra Out. I have the output going into a Extron Crosspoint switcher and those outputs feeding either a VGA monitor or a CRT TV. Both need very different settings. I have each working great, but changing from one to the other by simply choosing a Profile load (Im using Internal) doesnt seem to change over everything. I can test more and give specifics if you like.    Thank you

All of the items listed above should be part of the profile structure. Let me know specifically which settings are not saved so I can look into it.
