Are you using it on a strip or plugged directly into the mains? I have actually had that same problem on cheap component cables even hooked directly to the TV in the past where the TV would just lose sync.
I was having the same issue as you on a Samsung TV before but then it was just a bad power supply because they had none when I bought my OSSC and I was using another one.
sometimes i think the problem is rgb cables, car my consoles with official cables (gc dreamcast snes). do I have to buy new cables?
I spoke too fast … no sync snes at the moment …
are there any serious ways to test synchronization?
Try powering on the SNES and unplug the HDMI cable from the OSSC. If the light doesn’t turn green then it’s nothing to do with the TV.
Cheap RGB cables are hit and miss. I had to buy them from retrogamingcables because mine were of poor quality and kept dropping sync also. The SNES is very fussy too and the SNES at 50Hz doesn’t even work on my TV at all iirc.
the no sync is of 1 second never more.
the problems are also present when the television is off (my weekend is great …)
If you haven’t already you should default the settings just to rule that out too. Stuff like analog sync LPF can affect the synchronisation too.
no change, I have an image with each console and always the same problem
Where did you get your SCART cables from?
official for dreamcast gc / snes, ebay for others
So I just tested the neogeo in passthrough and there is no disconnection in red led, for example with the other modes every time I press a button to quickly move from the logo to the menu I have the right to a few disconnection moments but not in passthrough. I have disconnections but the LED is green. I try to play sync but for the moment no results.
