      Hello and happy new year 🙂

      The remote on my OSSC suddenly stopped working (remote and OSSC 1.6 bought back in 2017). Before that, it was working perfectly fine.

      When I reseat the batteries (tried with another pair as well) the light at the top blinks red and rapidly. Once I press the TV button, it stays red constantly.

      The OSSC doesn’t seem to respond to any button presses (menu etc doesn’t work) but still receives some sort of signal as once the remote is powered on, OSSC shows on the screen UI that “S1 Strength” is being increased rapidly to 100% (blinking red signal ?)

      Is there anything I can do to troubleshoot this ?

        Perhaps P^ button has got stuck?

          Thanks for the suggestion. Now that you mention it, it indeed makes a lot of sense (I don’t have the remote overlay and it didn’t occur to me to actually check which button was being triggered, I thought the blinking led was just an error code or something). I’ll open the remote over the next few days and report back.
