      Hi,

I have an OSSC and had it working fine with an Amstrad GX4000 connected via scart. Suddenly the OSSC cannot detect a picture and I just get a ‘no sync’ message. I can see the grey test pattern and have even changed the scart cable and updated the firmware but still all I get is ‘no sync’. Could anyone advise please? The console powers on fine.

Can you try the console on another display to rule that out?

Thank you for the reply – I just connected it to another display and the same issue sadly – grey test pattern on the LCD and the OSSC just cycles between AV1-AV3 before settling on AV3_RGsB – No sync. The power light on the Amstrad is on. What could have stopped this from working if nothing had changed and everything has power? Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thank you.

AV1 is the SCART input, AV3 is the VGA/D-Sub15, try manually selecting AV1? Do you get an image by using a different console or computer with your OSSC?

If I manually select AV1, then all it does it start the cycling process between AV1-AV3 again sadly.
I don’t have another console or computer with scart to test it sadly. It did use to work no problem, and I have the grey test pattern and the GX4000 LED power light is on
Is it the console or the OSSC? Thank you

                Is the OSSC broken?
