OSSC with OBS

so I have a ZasLuke 4K HDMI Game Capture Card USB 3.0 which cost me only 35 bucks on black friday. and it seems to work ok with 5x at 1080p (but trick is, i have to go to 1x first, then go back to 5x and OBS is able to capture it just fine)
an issue I’m running into though is with 960p when trying to stream Gamecube/PS2. OBS treats it as 480p, and only shows 1/4 of the image.. is there any way at all to fix that? normal 480 works fine, but it would be nice if i could play it at 960p while streaming.
