Playing japanese Super Famicom games on USA Snes

Hi!

I googled a lot, but I cannot find a nice solution for playing imported Super Famicom games on my NTSC SNES. All people advice a removing plastic tabs inside console but I search for less invasing mode. I’ve noticed that PAL SNES has a Action Replay or other various converters (like: http://nintendoagemedia.com/users/6457/photobucket/D176DA65-DBFE-DC8D-37BAF4AB84B8A684.jpg). I wonder if there is similar solution for USA SNES?

Not sure if I can fit this device to USA Snes slot. Anyway it’s very expensive… Any other options?
