      Hi everyone !
I bought an ossc in sept 2018. I had issues with the lcd screen very soon : The display was fading, like no contrast at all, the text on it was slitghly disappearing. But the backlight was OK. I had to push gently on the screen or make little tap on it and it was reappearing and then disappearing again. Problems were worse and worse so today, I decided to look at it more precisely and try to fix it myself (which i shouldn’t). Of course it went wrong and i accidentally broke the lcd screen…
I don’t know if there is any waranty on the ossc but in my case, pretty sure it will not work :/
It seems to me that a replacement with an equivalent screen doesn’t need incredible soldering skills, so what are the lcd modules compatibles ?
If anyone can help me please ?
      I tweeted to @VGPerfection, just in case…
I’ll post this message also in the “DIY KIT SUPPORT” section of the forum.

Sounds like it was one or more bad solder joints.

Use the Contact Us form, linked in the main navigation, to get in touch with BuckoA51.

The LCD on the OSSC is an off the shelf component – Newhaven Display NHD-C0216CZ-FSW-FBW-3V3

Here’s the display on Mouser UK – https://www.mouser.co.uk/ProductDetail/763-C0216CZ-FSWFBW3V

If you purchased your OSSC in September 2018 it’s under warranty and this will be repaired or replaced free of charge for you if you e-mail in.
