      Hi all,

I own a Kaico OSSC 1.6 and want to connect my PS2 through the scart input and my Xbox original through the component input of the OSSC so I have both consoles connected to one monitor. What would be the downfalls of connecting my PS2 through the scart input?

Also thinking of getting a used surround receiver which I can use to connect both consoles. Will need one with video upscaling capabilities.

Looking for a good solution to connect both consoles to one monitor. Anyone have some thoughts on what the best solution will be?

No downside since the OSSC can accept all signal types on the SCART input.

I’d avoid a receiver with upscaling as this tends to be fairly limited and definitely not optimised for videogames.

Hi. A bit late reaction from me!

Thanks for answering my question. Are there any downsides on using a PS2 with a RGB scart connection?
