So, I am loving my OSSC, but I am lazy and don’t want to get off the couch to game. I would like to plug the OSSC into a smart switch, leave the power switch on the OSSC always on, and power the smart switch on/off via remote to turn on the OSSC. Any thoughts on if this would potentially cause damage to the OSSC? Thanks!

I didn’t use a ‘smart’ power switch; rather, for a period, I used a rackmount PDU with a main power switch that I used to turn my retro AV equipment on and off (OSSC, CrossPoint, FC-4044, component switcher), specifically with the OSSC main power always on, and I experienced no ill effects on the OSSC.

That sounds like what I wanted to hear! Thank you.
