As the title says, I have an original revision NTSC SNES unit (SHVC-CPU-01) that I have plugged into an OSSC running firmware 0.82a. I’m using an Insurrection Industries SCART cable. The OSSC originally worked right out of the box with no configuration and I was able to use it with no issues for six months or so. A few days ago, I decided to re-mount my television, and cleaned up all the cables behind my media center. After re-connecting everything I can no longer get a sync from the SNES through the OSSC. The test pattern still appears over HDMI when I power on the OSSC.

I’m at a loss as to how I can troubleshoot this further. I’m ordering a micro sd card reader so I can try flashing the firmware, but beyond that I don’t have any good ideas. My big concern is that I may have accidentally shorted the board when I was re-arranging everything, but the fact that the test pattern still appears gives me hope.

I’m just spitballing here but I suspect that your SNES may need a recap.
