Strange Audio Upgrade Board Issue

Posting this here because the upgrade was DIY despite my 1.5 board being ordered pre-assembled.

The board is installed and working fine…most of the time.

However, after about 45 minutes to an hour my audio because massively distorted.

The mod work seems fine to me for the most part, not particularly great but should be fine.

Anything glaringly wrong with the mod work?

Had to wrap around the board rather than go through the hole to get to the pin of the oscillator but that shouldn’t really matter.

Well, I think I might have resolved it. Just played for two hours without issue. There was a bit of flux still on the board. So I guess maybe it was slightly shorting things? Not sure exactly, but after cleaning the flux off the board with an old toothbrush and some isopropyl everything seems to be good now. I’ll have to stress test it and see if it goes weird again, but I think I am all set.
