      Hello,

I have a problem with my OSSC combined with Retrotink (HDMI => VGA). I use this combination to run my demo unit M82 (composite) and I encounter problems micro-cuts ignition.

I want to clarify that the Retrotink only, connected in HDMI, works perfectly with my Sega Saturn, connected directly in RGB on the OSSC, doesn’t encounter any problem. I updated the OSSC with the latest firmware (0.82) and that does not solve my problem.

Here is a video filmed to show you the problem.

However, I noticed that if the OSSC was powered on for 10 minutes, the micro-cuts slowed down and the image stabilized but it began to cut again after one hour…

Here is a video after letting the OSSC turn on after 10 min :

Have you ever encountered this problem ?

Many thanks in advance for your help.

Can you clarify exactly what you mean here? You’re connecting the Saturn how, exactly? You can’t connect RGB to RetroTINK.

            Yes of course…

The Saturn connected directly to the OSSC in RGB has no problem of cutoff but the Retrotink connected to the VGA input of the OSSC (M82 => Retrotink => OSSC => TV) shows cuts as on the first video…

Is there a specific setting on the OSSC for synchronization with Retrotink ? Is the problem not coming from the HDMI adapter => VGA (Tendak) ?

            Thanks in advance

I think I’m having a similar issue here, but it’s even more pronounced.

When using an HDMI to VGA adapter with the RetroTink2x, video only works for about 2-3 seconds at a time with extended drop outs in between those.

I don’t even think the issue is specific to the OSSC, since it happens with my RetroTINK2x connected via VGA to a monitor, no OSSC involved.

                Hello,

I changed the HDMI => VGA adapter and I have no more cut 🙂
The only thing I noticed is that I have to let the OSSC power on for 5 min (I do not know why …) before turning on the M82 so that the image is stable, without interruption …
