      Hello,

      I seek for a better adapter to convert my VGA signal from extra AV extension to SCART… I convert my emulation from mini PC to my CRT via OSSC pro…

      Now I convert it by the adapter from RetroUpgrades, but I’m not completely happy with the result… I have a big jailbar on the right side of the CRT – only in RGB not in S-Video, so some piece of the signal chain is too “weak”… every other parts of the signal chain are fully optimized!

      Two Questions:
      1. It’s worth it to buy the direct adapter from VGP (AV Input/Output Adapter v1.3) to improve the video quality? Good is, that this adapter has no combiner in it and strip the RGB signal in correct 15 kHz H-Sync directly from the Extra AV extension (and without power supply!)

      2. When is the adapter available in the stock? I wait soo long and the continue production seems to be slowly… You can get the product only here on this portal… how long I have to wait?

        You’re correct the adapter is entirely passive, I don’t know if this is what is causing your jailbar though.

        More stock is just waiting on one single part, that seems to be taking forever to arrive at the factory.

            I bought the new av-adapter from VGP for the ossc pro… it’s fantastic… I watch the video and maybe I become sure to buy the right extra device…

            Since I had the extra av-extension-card, i switch the switches SW1 to SCART_O and SW2 to SCART_O….

            I convert with it the hdmi signal from mini pc to scart signal for CRT!

              I want to connect my two CRTs via this adapter…
              The first CRT would be connected by SCART, the second one would be connected by YUV…

              My question is:
              Both are don’t run synchron, i want to use this adapter for only connection and run one of them! Would become the quality worst, when I connect both CRTs at the av adapter? This is a very technical question and i have no idea, how i get the information besides here!
              It’s even possible to connect both at the same adapter?

                I have no idea what you mean by that.

                You can connect up both displays but can’t use them at the same time, the OSSC will output either RGBs or Ypbpr component video, not both at the same time so you’d need to select which you wanted.

                  Ok maybe I cannot say that I thinking because my english is only “school english”… (i come from germany!)…

                  Ok, it supposed to be, that you choose the certain channel with the options, either RGBs or Ypbpr … so it’s would be perfect….because both CRTs can keep plugged and one profile for one CRT with RGBs and one profile for second CRT with Ypbpr … Great work, I will test that!
