This was resolved with the Extra AV expansion card. The issue must have been introduced by the HDMI to YPbPr adapter I was using initially.
Yes, other modes like 480p and 1080i work just fine. I’m not 100% positive that the set is compatible with 540p, but I’m on a journey to find out. From what I’ve read online, 540p is hit or miss with these HD Sony sets. Some of them are missing a specific logic board that allows you to toggle digital processing, but I know that mine has that logic board so I’m hopeful. I did mess around with the display timings settings but I don’t know what I’m doing tbh. I was able to make the scroll effect faster and also reverse the direction of the scroll, but I couldn’t get the image to stay still. I’m going to try updating my OSSC Pro to the latest firmware. I also ended up ordering the Extra AV out expansion card to use instead of my current HDMI-to-YPbPr adapter to see if it gives a better result.
