      Just got it working, but this time I used the built in SD slot on my laptop (Ricoh chipset, Lenovo X1 Carbon)

      but also I’d downloaded the latest Win32DiskImager 0.95, and its running Win8.1, so all 3 aspects of the process are different

      Setup that didnt work:

      USB -> MultiCard reader (Transcent USB3, and Integreal USB2)
      Win10
      DiskImager v0.7
      ———————-

        I cant seem to get the FW to update, it keeps saying: “Invalid CRC”

        I’m using the same 2GB Sandisk card that coderkind linked to, and I’ve tried 2 different USB-Card readers just incase
        it was that.

        I’ve CLEANed the disk using Diskpart (cleeg – this is what your camera is effectively doing, formatting it to FAT32)

        any other suggestions?

        (I guess I could try my work laptop (win8.1) and see if that cardreader makes any difference…)

        Whats the MD5 hash of the BIN file? (0.73) just so I can be sure its atleast downloading correctly

            Has anyone tested the OSSC x2/x3 480p double modes on an VP30 ?

            I didnt want to go through the testing if someone has already tried it 🙂

              One of my fav games of all time, never get tired of the music soundtrack either

                  I’m even more confused now then , since “Calle W” on the Shumps forums says they were 84th on the list and got their email on Sat

                  I (as far as I can work out from your URL number message) should be in the 1st 40 people, so I dont know what to believe now :S

                    I dont know how much information/research counts as “enough” before you’d embark on offering a mod service

                        Ah if its on your radar, and its just a matter of finding the time then I guess I’ll just wait and see

                        I can fully appreciate the desire to do a project and not being able to find the time!

                            Oh wow, Seems I’m number 39 ! sweet 🙂

                            I had assumed I was waaay further down the list.

                            I had asked Bucko on the SHUMPS forums (a few weeks ago) if there was a way to get our position but I got that it would have been a pain to look everyone up manually!

                            So from the sounds of the production I could be playing with my OSSC this summer 🙂
