      Thank you for still following the issue. I’m not gonna be able to access my recording setup anytime soon, but I’ll make sure to test the new firmware and report back as soon as I have the chance.

        Am I the only one that’s ever had this problem? is there a chance that I received a bad unit?

          I tried a lot of things to try solving the problem way before getting the OSSC, my capture card can’t do deinterlacing at all and that’s the reason why I’m having trouble with 480i not being captured at 60fps. AmarecTV does the job but with significant image quality downgrade.

          I just tried the custom firmware and the results are the same unfortunately, the dithering is still there in all modes.

            I always record using OBSS. The main problem that I’m having with passthrough mode that if my capture card manages to get a signal it doesn’t come out as 480i60, it comes out as 480i30 where the image looks bad or sometimes in a weird 720*240 resolution. That’s true for all the signal converters that I tried so far including the OSSC. I have an Avermedia Live Gamer HD Lite internal capture card.

            Thank you for hooking me up with the custom firmware, I assume that I can rollback to the previous firmware if this one doesn’t work?
