If you read this I think I found what was causing the shutdowns :
I was trying to adjust the image from my wii in a completely wrong way : taking scaler mode but going generic for synchro and putting the whole picture to fit the screen. After tinkering with synchro for a long time : zooming and moving the picture it eventually shutdown when I hit standby on the remote.
Since then I realized my mistake when I got to look at wobbling pixels profiles.
No more funky synchro no more problems.
It seems the ossc pro didin’t like my faulty synchro settings.

Hello Marqs,
After some exchanges and test from Matt on my unit I am waiting for a replacement coming soon.
If the same problem appears I will probably buy an USB blaster and try to get some log file.
Where is the port for the usb blaster on the ossc pro ? Do you have to open it ?
