Hi…real VGA requires separate H and V TTL sync, so no, it wouldn’t work with genuine VGA. Notwithstanding, some VGA shows can acknowledge csync or match up on-green, which can be gone through SCART. My old Viewsonic CRT did. Nonetheless, sync-on-composite is most likely not going to work.
