@ marqs Hello again, is there any way to simulate the dithering effect we saw on tube TVs like in the old days at OSSC? Even if it requires an add-on?

@ marqs It’s because I asked you once if to simulate the CRT I needed to use the shadow mask + scanlines simultaneously, I’m using scanlines on a Sega Genesis, so I wanted to know if there are some scanline presets or if not, if there is a tutorial teaching how to configure them to simulate certain types of CRT

@marqs Are there any scanline presets? I searched a lot and couldn’t find any on the internet. I wanted to know if there are any tutorials somewhere that teach how to configure scanlines to simulate certain types of CRTs.

Hello @Marqs, one question, is it possible to add Motion Adaptive to the ossc?

@marqs Once again, thank you very much for the answer, just one last curiosity, will we still have firmware updates for ossc 1.8? Or will the fact that you are working on OSSC PRO already discontinue OSSC 1.8?

@marqs In this case, what is the best configuration for the Playstation 2 that you recommend so that I can have an image as close as possible to a real crt in ossc 1.8?

@marqs Thank you very much for the answer, I’m from Brazil and an OSSC enthusiast, I made the mod on my 1.7 to work with the 1.xx firmware, I’m quite satisfied with the result, I use OSSC on the PS2, would you have a recommendation to use the shadow mask but scanline for 480i/480p consoles or in addition to the shadow mask, would it be interesting to also activate the scanline only on consoles with 240/288p resolution?

@marqs Hi guys, if possible, please clear my doubts, does the shadow mask already emulate all the behavior of a crt including the scanlines? or even activating the shadow mask, do I also need to activate the scanlines to have an image closer to a real crt?

Hello everyone, I’m from Brazil, I made the mod for version 1.8, and there’s something I noticed, on TVs with HDR compatibility, apparently the burn in effect when using 2x or 4x bob, stopped happening, has anyone else noticed? Could this be the solution for the burn in caused by bob? At least on my TV after that, it went back to normal, before the burn in happened very quickly if I left the image paused for a few minutes, I did a test yesterday with HDR enabled, I left the image paused for more than 20 minutes and nothing happened, it went back to normal.
